because we are always seeking elsewhere and otherwise

We are always "seeking elsewhere and otherwise". As we sat in Hampi, India with the fellow travelers/trekkers, I noticed that 90% of them had out their Lonely Planet Guides and they were contemplating their next destination: Nepal, Karala, Dharmsala, etc. But, what struck me was they were missing all that was around them NOW. The sights and smells of their current location, the friendly waiters, the cloudless sky... They were already on to the next adventure and missing that which was before them.
